Shuttered Venue Operators Grant

The Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG) program was established by the Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act, and amended by the American Rescue Plan Act. The program includes over $16 billion in grants to shuttered venues, to be administered by SBA’s Office of Disaster Assistance.

Other SVOG Updates:

  • On 8/27, SBA Opens Supplemental Grant Applications for Shuttered Venue Operators Grant Awardees. Awards Expected to Begin Going out within Two Weeks. Supplemental is invitation only by SBA – no application process.
  • The SBA is opening the program for supplemental SVOGs for 50% of the original award amount, capped at a total of $10 million.
