Iowa State University is offering a four-module program for preparing employees, supervisors, and owners of manufacturing and construction companies for planning, preparing, and responding to COVID-19 in the workplace. The curriculum consists of four, 1-hour long, webinars that will be offered every Wednesday 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM from January – September 2021.
Module 4 will cover supervisory response, communication, strategy, and policymaking with topics including
- Expectations of supervisory functions for positive COVID-19 employees in the workplace
- When COVID-19 positive and non-COVID-19 positive employees can return to work
- Posting awareness information and other relevant signage
- Interacting with County Public Health and Emergency Management offices and these office’s jurisdiction during a pandemic
