Oh So Sweet by Tiphanie, owned by Tiphanie Cannon, was started as a cupcake shop in May of 2014 but has since grown to offer other delicious baked goods as well as lunch. Using old recipes that were passed down through the generations to provide customers with the best, freshest homemade bakery items that the Quad Cities has to offer is located at 314 Main St Davenport, IA. Every item is (from cupcakes to frosting to fillings) is made from scratch!

Tiphanie, currently with 11 full and part-time employees, has reached new heights by being featured on Food Network. She says, “I am so unbelievably excited to announce that you can watch me bake my booty off next month on Food Network! Tune in November 11 at 9 pm to the Christmas Cookie Challenge to see me compete against 4 other contestants as we make, bake and decorate our best Christmas cookies for a chance to win $10,000!”

Marsha Rinetti, the third Eastern Iowa SBDC director, was instrumental in helping Tiphanie get started. Business plans, help with the City of Davenport loan programs, and overall strategy discussions helped owner Tiphanie Cannon get off to a wonderful start!

Joel Youngs, the fourth and current Eastern Iowa SBDC director, says “it has been a delight to watch Tiphanie grow her business over these last 5 years. Her marketing and creative flair is evident not only with her baking but with her business acumen doing joint ventures with other business owners such as Pies and Cocktails with Tiphanie and Mississippi River Distilling Company & Cody Road Cocktail House.”
