Have you ever had a vision that you felt so passionate about and made it a reality? Well Bailey Kloft did just that as she watched her lifelong dream of fashion and styling come to life. After obtaining her Master’s degree in Business Analytics, she wanted to use her strengths in business and add a creative edge. On May 12, 2017, Stella Vivian was created.
Bailey knew she wanted to set her boutique apart from the rest. Her vision for Stella Vivian was to have an online platform with added client interactions in a creative and different way. She hosts private parties, clothing emergency house calls, last minute pickups and deliveries for upcoming events and personal styling.
Working as a Career Development & Business Partnership lead at Northeast Iowa Community College, she knew that the SBDC was a resource that she could turn to for assistance. She reached out the SBDC in January 2017 and worked with Ralph Kluseman to make her dream a reality. Bailey said “SBDC has helped me from the start and they were great asset to bringing my business to fruition. Ralph Kluseman helped me every step of the way and was my IT, accounting guru, and most importantly my motivator.”
Bailey’s hard work is apparent as she watches her line grow and sees people wearing her clothing. She believes that when you are passionate about what you do, you don’t have to work in a day in your life, and Stella Vivian has proven that to be true for her. In the future, she hopes her business can continue to grow and flourish, making it easier for people in her community to have affordable and stylish clothing.
