The Iowa Small Business Development Center (SBDC) announced on December 16, 2013 that its Davenport center, the Eastern Iowa Small Business Development Center, is an active member of the Muscatine Entrepreneurial Center for Business Development (Center) and will be providing free business counseling at the Center at least two days per month. They will also offer some affordable workshops and classes at the Center.
On Monday, November 18, the new Center opened with a grand opening and ribbon cutting. People participating in the ribbon cutting, from left to right, were: Gary Slight, Dave Meloy, Travis Sheets, Bob Albee, Jim Elias, Marsha Rinetti, and Greg Jenkins.
Marsha Rinetti, Regional Director of the Eastern Iowa Small Business Development Center, says, āThis Center is intended to be a community resource for local businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. I am so happy the Eastern Iowa SBDC is a vital part of this new Center.ā
Muscatine Community College President Bob Albee, who is also the President of the Centerās Board of Directors, spoke at the ribbon cutting.
