Abby Stromberg opened Stella’s Coffee Bar, LLC In January 2023 after operating the business in her camper as a mobile unit since October 2019. Stella’s Coffee Bar is located in Ft. Dodge and has been active in their community since the beginning. The demand from the community has been overwhelming, but Stromberg has followed her mission to take her passion for creative beverages and coffee to the people of Iowa and has made a difference in her community.

Stella’s Coffee Bar strives to offer a professional and creative beverage experience and they also love to be a part of those special moment in their customer’s lives. Stromberg says that being kind and supporting their community is what makes their business unique.

Stromberg worked with the Iowa SBDC Regional Director, Justin Faiferlick, to help with financing, cash flows, financial analysis, marketing strategies, and startup assistance. She says, “I am so grateful for the work the SBDC has provided. Both Audra and Justin were extremely kind and helpful. I would recommend anyone looking to start or expand a business to contact them.”

They are very thankful for their staff and supporters that have helped with the opening and getting everything to fall in line. Looking to the future they hope to expand by opening an outdoor patio and potentially add a catering option to their menu. Overall they are looking for growth and options for their community.
