Jeremy Ascherl has found immense success in his business, Ascherl Chiropractic Sports & Wellness, over the past year and a half. When first deciding to open his business, he knew he could do it. After looking over everything he realized it would be much easier if he had assistance in purchasing office space and obtaining loans.
Jeremy then reached out to Brandi Shay with the South Central Iowa SBDC initially help him revise his business plan. After they had finished working with his business plan, they jumped into opening his business, and she guided him through getting a loan approved for his new business in Winterset, where he opened his first location in August 2016. After opening his first location, he watched his business grow through word-of-mouth. Six months after opening, Jeremy opened his second location of Ascherl Chiropractic Sports & Wellness in Earlham, Iowa. Many new chiropractors do not make it through their first year of business on their own, and Jeremy prides himself for being so successful within the first year that he was able to open his Earlham location. He focuses on his goal to increase his patient base every single month, and has found that having this goal is a big part of his success.
Outside of work, Jeremy volunteers his time to help with high school athletics. He is also partnered with Wounded Warrior Foundation where he gives a veteran a week of free care.
